We also ask you to read and agree to our User Agreement before using the ParkingTicket Assist web site and, when you do, we collect and store the date and time of your agreement.


How We Use the Information Collected

The information you provide when you use our web site to Search for and select parking tickets is stored and used by us to facilitate the completion of your parking ticket pleas and payments and to ensure your pleas and payments are sent to the appropriate court or violations bureau.


The information that is collected automatically is used by us to improve this web site’s content and help us understand how users are interacting with this web site. We do not sell or otherwise disclose this information for commercial purposes.

How We Share the Information Collected with Third Parties

If you confirm that you want to pay a ticket online, we will share license plate number, ticket number, town/village justice court or traffic violations bureau/agency information with a third party company, GovPayNet, Inc., (GPS) to process your payment. At that time, we will also redirect (hand-off) your web session to the GPS web site where GPS, not FBS, will ask you for your payment account information. GPS does not share any of your payment account information back with FBS, except for a confirmation number. GPS is independent of FBS and has its own privacy and security policies posted at the bottom of its own web pages. If you have questions about them, please contact GPS directly.


If you successfully make a payment, we will share information about your pleas and payment amounts for all tickets paid with the applicable New York Town and Village Justice Court or Traffic and Parking Violations Bureau. We will also ensure that your pleas and payments are forwarded on to the appropriate court or violations bureau, according to our agreement with them.


Sometimes we use other third party companies to provide services for us, including assistance in maintaining and managing customer information and providing software,hardware, and Internet services. Some of these vendors are given access to some or all of the information you provide to us, including your name, address, email address, license plate number, and ticket number, and the information we collect from you automatically when you visit this web site. Except as disclosed in this Privacy Statement, we do not authorize such third parties to make use of personally identifiable information other than to provide us with these services.
